Yeah I’m gonna caption this instead of putting my feels in the tags and you will fucking deal.
I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing the first time I saw this performance. That information is not relevant. What is relevant is that this band would completely and utterly transform my life. My taste, my friends, my beliefs, my heart - all completely changed for the better. My favorite bands will change at will. I will lose interests and find new ones. Life will go on. But this band will always be the most important musical influence to ever touch my life and I love them more than words can ever say.
Yeah now I have all the feelings ever about The Strokes, they were and still are my band and without them my life really would be different I wouldn’t know half the people I do now. I love them so much and always will.

Attention fans of The Strokes
Want to say Merry Christmas to The Strokes? Well @ArcticBuckley aka Gabe is planning a video where fans can record a Christmas message to the band. Much like birthday videos fans have done before but this one is to say Merry Christmas/Season Greetings to The Strokes. All you need is a recording device and a smile!

Once its done, Gabe plans to tweet it to various members of The Strokes in the hope they will see it.
I don’t usually get involved with fan videos but Gabe is a pretty great guy whose YouTube channel has provided us all with some awesome videos this year. So if its your kind of thing then get involved.
