slightly replied to your post: I actually thought of you several times while watching Sparty for the first time! You’re going to like it, I’m sure!
to be honest, I thought you’d already seen it!
Really I should have!
slightly replied to your post: slightly answered your question: Seeing as…
yeah, once you embrace the ridiculousness of it it becomes wonderful! I still skip some stuff with the Roman men, but not much.
I think that’s the thing it is silly but its good silly unlike some shows which are just plain bad
slightly replied to your post: ALSO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR AGRON, HE IS MY DARLING.
YEP! His first appearance is in 1.08, with his brother and some seriously bad hair.
Bad hair?? I’m already in love!
Oh he is part of the super adorable can’t wait until I get to those episodes gay couple isn’t he? Yeah I can see me getting through the first season quickly to get to the latest one!
Like everyone keeps going on about how great it is, so eventually I cave in with these things

Blood and Sand, but feel free to skim around in the episodes if you’re bored of a character/scene!
I’m actually enjoying it more than I expected to, like just finished episode 5. I remember watching the first episode when it aired and going wtf is this but this time around I’m like yay CGI blood! Yay everyone shouting Jupiter’s Cock!
Joss Whedon Describes Agent Coulson’s “Man Crush” On Captain America In THE AVENGERS
letseyx replied to your post: Seeing as everyone is raving about this season going to give Spartacus another chance. Not sure though should I watch Gods of the Arena or Blood and Sand first? Or does it really matter?
Blood and Sand first (prepare for some bad episodes for like half a season, then AWESOMENESS), then gods of the arena.

Blood and Sand.
Thanks guys, yeah I’m expecting some bad eps I struggled to get through the pilot back when it aired but knowing it does indeed get good makes it easier!
